Daniel Morden 9/22 Tue 2p A
Description
Daniel Morden is a Welsh storyteller in the oral tradition and has been traveling the world to collect and share traditional tales since 1989. His performances range from timeless Greek myths and thrilling Celtic adventures to delightfully awful dad jokes – all delivered with wit, charm, and a storyteller’s keen sense of timing. Daniel's performances have taken him from the Arctic to Australia, via Haiti and Hawaii, and from Broadway to London’s National Theatre and the Royal Albert Hall. He has given the Opening Address at the Sydney Writers Festival, won multiple awards for his books, and was awarded Britain’s Hay Festival Medal, recognizing his outstanding contribution to the art of storytelling.
“To experience Daniel Morden in full flight is an amazing thing. He combines the skills of the Troubadour, the actor, the bard, the stand-up comedian, and the preacher in the pulpit. One of the UK’s greatest storytellers.” – Ian McMillan, RADIO 3
