Thursday, October 1 • 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Discover the art and ethics of collecting and sharing family stories in this interactive workshop on oral history, family research, and archival storytelling. Topics include interviewing relatives, honoring elders, navigating differing perspectives, and respectfully retelling the stories of others. Harvey holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies with a specialization in Performance Ethnography. She writes and performs family stories and has delivered storytelling workshops at festivals and conferences across the U.S.
