One of Ireland’s most respected storytellers, Liz Weir has spent nearly five decades sharing stories across five continents and both hemispheres. She has performed for audiences of all ages in settings as varied as pubs, prisons, hospital rooms, and London’s Royal Albert Hall. A Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) honoree for her work in service of the arts and education, Weir now spends much of her time facilitating workshops and mentoring new storytellers. At the heart of her work is a belief that stories connect people across borders, generations, and circumstances.
